Love’s Travel Stops opens in Hawthorne, Florida
(OKLAHOMA CITY, August 4, 2016) – The Sunshine State welcomes a new resident today as Love’s Travel Stops opens for business in Hawthorne at State Road 20 and U.S. Highway 301. The new travel stop brings approximately 50 jobs to Alachua County.

The 24-hour, 10,000 square-foot travel stop features a McDonald’s restaurant, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of five showers and 71 truck-parking spaces.
Love’s will celebrate the opening of the new location with a ribbon cutting at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9. Love’s will donate $1,000 to Hawthorne Youth Sports, Inc., as a part of the grand opening festivities. Love’s donated an additional $1,000 to support the Hawthorne Area Chamber of Commerce’s 6th Annual Community Fun Bowl that took place last month.
