Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING

Sponsor: The Giveaway is sponsored by Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Inc., 10601 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73120 (the “Sponsor”).

Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Giveaway. You acknowledge and agree that your entrance into the Giveaway constitutes your acceptance of this agreement, has the same effect as manually signing this agreement with the Sponsor and creates a valid, binding contract between you and Sponsor. If you do not agree to the terms of this agreement, you should not enter the Giveaway.

Time Period: The Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Inc. Customer Survey Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) shall begin 12:00:00 AM Central Time (“CT”) on June 5, 2020 and end 11:59:59 PM CT on August 31, 2020 (such period, the “Entry Period/Giveaway Period”).

Eligibility: This Giveaway is open only to those who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry. The Giveaway is only open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (excluding, without limitation, Puerto Rico, other US territories and possessions), and is void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings, and each of their spouses regardless where they live) or members of the same household of Sponsor, and anyone connected with the production or distribution of the survey or the Giveaway ("Giveaway Entities"), as these designations might apply, are not eligible to enter or be awarded a prize. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. You are not authorized to participate in the Giveaway if you are not located within the 50 United States.

How to Enter: The entry must fulfill all Giveaway requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. You must provide the information requested. If You use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Sponsor. There are two ways to enter the Giveaway:

Text Entry: Text WIN to 56873, then complete the Customer Survey you receive in response.

Mail-In Entry: Write your full name, complete mailing address, phone number, e-mail (if available), and answer the Customer Survey questions (included at the bottom of this page) on a post card and mail to: Customer Survey Giveaway c/o Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Inc., Attn: Francie Koop 10601 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73120 (each an “entry” or “entries”).

Each entry or entries must be received by the Giveaway Period End Date to be eligible for the giveaway. All other forms of attempted entry into the Giveaway are ineligible and may cause disqualification. All entries made in violation of these rules will be disqualified. By participating in the Giveaway, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

Entry Period: Entries must be received during the applicable Entry Period to be eligible.

Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of Sponsor, on or about the Entry Period Drawing Date, from among all eligible entries received within the Entry Period. Potential winners will be notified by email, phone and/or mail. Sponsor shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 14 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Giveaway is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. If winner notification is returned as undeliverable or if the selected winner cannot accept or receive the prize for any reason, or he/she is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected in a separate random drawing. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.

Prizes: There will be one winner (“Winner”). The Winner will receive a check for $1,000.

Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Love’s. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. A prize will be awarded provided it is claimed properly according to these rules. The Winner acknowledges that Sponsor and all other Giveaway Entities have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize or regarding the use, value or enjoyment of the prize.

Publicity Release: Acceptance of the prize constitutes licenses and permission to use the winner's name, voice, photo, image, likeness and any and all identifying characteristics including, but not limited to, the taking of photographs and/or videos by the Sponsor's photographer/videographer for publicity purposes, without further consent or compensation, unless prohibited by law. Participants hereby relinquish all rights, title, and interest in any advertising or publicity material and waive all rights to payment or compensation therefore or for the use thereof, and consent to any publicity materials created by Sponsor using participant’s name, address, or likeness associated with the Giveaway. Failure to comply with the aforementioned conditions shall be grounds for forfeiture of the prize.

Pennsylvania Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73120. Requests must be received by September 30, 2020.

Privacy Policy: All entries submitted become the property of the Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. All Entry information will be held and used in accordance with these Official Rules located at www.loves.com/1000-Sweepstakes and the Sponsor's Privacy Policy located at https://www.loves.com/en/terms-and-privacy.

Disputes, Claims or Actions: Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims, action and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway or the prize awarded and all issues and questions concerning the validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction sitting in Oklahoma. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Giveaway and never shall include consequential, incidental or punitive damages, and in no event attorneys' fees. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: BY ENTERING, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISING AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, PARTNERS, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS, SUCCESSORS, ASSIGNS, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, AND DIRECTORS FROM ANY LIABILITY, ILLNESS, INJURY, DEATH, LOSS, LITIGATION, CLAIM, OR DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, WHETHER CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OR NOT, FROM: (I) SUCH ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY AND/OR HIS/HER ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE OR ANY PORTION THEREOF; (II) TECHNICAL FAILURES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE MALFUNCTION OF ANY COMPUTER, CABLE, NETWORK, HARDWARE, OR SOFTWARE, OR OTHER MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT; (III) THE UNAVAILABILITY OR INACCESSIBILITY OF ANY TRANSMISSIONS, TELEPHONE, OR INTERNET SERVICE; (IV) UNAUTHORIZED HUMAN INTERVENTION IN ANY PART OF THE ENTRY PROCESS OR THE PROMOTION; (V) ELECTRONIC OR HUMAN ERROR IN THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE PROMOTION OR THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES. General Terms and Conditions: No entrant or winner shall have the right to contest any decision by the Sponsor concerning any aspect of the Giveaway or the interpretation of the Official Rules or the determination as to the qualification of entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for those who are not solicited to enter. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this Giveaway should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Giveaway or if, in the Sponsor’s sole determination, it believes that the integrity of the Giveaway has been, or could be, compromised or that the Giveaway is not capable of running as planned or fairly. In such case, Sponsor may select the winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry from the Giveaway if, in the Sponsor’s sole judgment, an entrant has not complied with these Official Rules, or any entrant it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway. Without limitation, an entrant’s entries will be disqualified, at the sole discretion of Sponsor, if entrant attempts (i) to enter the Giveaway through any means other than as described in these Official Rules; or (ii) provides information that is inaccurate or fraudulent; or (iii) attempts to disrupt the Giveaway or circumvent the terms and conditions of these Official Rules.

Other Terms and Conditions: The Giveaway is void where prohibited, licensed, restricted or taxed. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. If any provision of the Giveaway shall be deemed to violate any federal, state, or local law, regulation or ordinance, it shall be amended to conform to such law and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect. If Sponsor is required by applicable federal, state, or local law, regulation or ordinance, or by action of an administrative agency to cease offering the Giveaway in any jurisdiction, Sponsor reserves the right to (i) terminate the Giveaway in such jurisdiction in its entirety, and/or (ii) cancel and remove from participation in the Giveaway any and/or your entry if you reside in such jurisdiction, without penalty and without obligation to you.
