Love's Travel Stops opens in Guthrie, Oklahoma
OKLAHOMA CITY, December 10, 2015 – Love's Travel Stops opened its doors for business today in Guthrie, along Interstate 35 and Highway 33, giving residents and drivers a new place to purchase fuel, snacks and more. The opening takes Love’s past the mark of 300 travel stops.
"Guthrie and Love’s have had a thriving relationship for more than 30 years," said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s Travel Stops. "We are eager to serve our customers by opening our third Guthrie location with the 'Clean Places, Friendly Faces' Love’s is known for."
The 24-hour, 10,000 square foot facility adds approximately 50 jobs to Logan County. Customers can enjoy a Carl’s Jr. with Green Burrito restaurant, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of seven showers, 106 truck-parking spaces and a Love’s Truck Tire Care center. This location will also add a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling option for motorists and heavy-duty trucks this spring.
Love’s will give $1,000 donations to the Kiwanis Club and Guthrie Public Schools as a part of a ribbon cutting to be held in conjunction with the Guthrie Chamber of Commerce. The checks will be presented at the new Love’s at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16. Members of the community are invited and encouraged to attend the ribbon cutting.
For a limited time, professional drivers can earn up to five points with their "My Love Rewards" loyalty cards at all Love’s locations.
